Isn't the Big 10 making about $20M per school? With all the screaming and regret over the Big 12 shackled to a paltry contract, I'd think we'd be really happy to see us suddenly making very close to what the Big 10 schools make. A school like KU would likely be making more than almost every Big 10 school when looking at all revenue sources combined.
Why is this a bad thing? Yeah Texas gets a few measly extra million, but we're talking the other 9 losing out on roughly half a million each. If anything, this locks up Texas since they wouldn't get more elsewhere.
