I think the Big-12 should keep the name, screw the Big-10 and make them pick a new name all together. And the recruit in a whole batch of replacement teams to fill out the Big 12.
Pull from the WAC/MW and the ConfUSA if need be. But keep it under the identity of the Big-12.
Take a step down, but make someone else go out of business instead.
