I didn't mean that MU ****ed up the Big 10. I don't think the Big 10 deal was ever real. Just some people talking about scenarios and then all of a sudden the MU brass started publicly talking about it.
The Big 12 didn't like this.
From there the Big 12 was shown to be weak and others have since moved in to take it apart.
I'm not saying this wasn't inevitable. I'm still not so sure why MU thinks it had it so bad in the Big 12. Their football program is much better than what it was. I just think their heads got waaay too big.
KU, KSU, etc have sat by the whole time trying to find solutions and that has been proven to be the right thing to do.
I still want the Big 12 to stay together and we plug in a school for Colorado (they sucked at sports anyway) and do it again if Neb leaves.
Turns out Kansas has been on top of this the whole time. It's now coming out that T Boone Pickens and the Sooners really don't want to go anywhere. The realization of having to play in a PAC-10 that is now heavily tarnished by USC is not so appealing.
Texas will stay and I think we're a lot further from these 16 team superconferences then people think.
But who knows, just another theory
