One thing that I hope comes from all of this:
Kansas fans love to point out how "irrelevant" and "insignificant" Missouri is. That's fine. We may not be able to boast about our Final Four appearances and (flukey) Orange Bowl selections. Sure.
But we could very easily leave your asses behind for good (along with Nebraska). Where would that leave you????? Kinda scary, isn't it?
Maybe you're not as infallible and mighty as you thought. Maybe Missouri isn't as lowly and insignificant as you thought.
Maybe. Just maybe. If the Big XII stays together... you'll appreciate and respect your neighbors to east a little bit more.
