They're not just numbers. He's been pegged as a guy who knows how to win games. And yet he was horrendous at third down efficiency and atrocious in 4th quarters. And looking beyond the numbers, rarely was he ever asked to be anything special in the 4th quarter. It's a lot easier to win games when you have the best defense in the league that holds your lead for an entire 4th quarter. He was a game manager. I thought he played fine for a rookie, but when people elevate him to a clear future franchise QB based on 2009, that's just ridiculous. As I said before, if we're so tough on our own being franchise QBs, why are we so loose about calling other QBs franchise QBs?
