Whether or not they were ranked at the time is completely irrelevant. Did they somehow become better or worse based on their ranking? No, of course not. They are what they always were. UNC was always overrated, whether their ranking reflected that or not. That is the crux of the issue, here. The teams that UK beat were overrated. The ranking is moot. KU has more quality wins and by far more quality road wins. That's just a fact.
