That works too. I never had the spasms though- just an unforgivable piercing pain that wouldn't go away.
I still recall the morning, long before I had surgery, when I stormed into my doctor's office and told him he had my permission to sever my right leg right then and there. I couldn't take it anymore and I was
that desperate. Obviously he suggested pain killers and surgery and I took the pain killers route first, and then the surgery.
