I think Jared Allen could rush the passer, more or less sucked against the run,and was fooled by the bootleg all the damn time.
What he was good at was a gift he had that didn't need to be coached. Go kill the QB.
What he sucked at were things that should have been coachable.
I guess now you are going to tell me he was a good run defender and he didn't fall for the bootleg all the time.
