My mother, my brother's girlfriend and several of my best friends are nurses. I've never once heard any them b*tch about anything that has to do with the care of a patient. Most of the complaining usually has to do with a-hole doctors, overbearing families of patients or the multiple extended shifts they have to work.
Yeah, because grown adults just love peeing all over themselves and pooing their beds. It's a very satisfying experience for them. I just can't wait until I have can stay in a hospital so I don't have to walk to the bathroom.
Pardon me if I sound cranky but my dad has been in the hospital for over six weeks and this type of attitude seriously ticks me off. I've seen both ends of the nursing spectrum. There have been wonderful compassionate nurses and there have been nurses who acts like their doing him a favor to even acknowledge him. Those types always think they are being great nurses to their patients but you can feel the attitude coming off them a mile away.
