except Petro didn't mention Carl's yearly bonus which i've heard was considerable.

iirc it was like a 2 million dollar per year bonus if the Chiefs made their profit margin for the average of the previous 2 years.

i believe that's why the Chiefs only invested hard into free agency on a cycle because it allowed Carl to make sure he got his huge profit bonus.
