herm "influenced" the type of offense he wanted to run when he hired Chan. Gailey agreed to that type of offense to get the job.

Basically it shows a serious lack of talent evaluation by the coaching staff.. OR, a serious lack of adjustment by the coaching staff until they were forced to adjust from their vaunted R2P2 into more modern NFL scheme...
