The INT in the Miami game was a bad decision and a bad throw. But I can't count how many QB's I've seen throw the fade from their back foot. If Croyle had gotten the ball to the back pylon, where it belonged, this wouldn't even be under discussion.
Croyle stepped into the throw in the Saints game perfectly. He made the right read. He just made the throw LATE.
Which is something that will be corrected with PLAYING TIME. As mentioned before, the speed of the game cannot be learned on the practice field or in film study.
