No issues burning most dvd's. You have to decrypt it, then shrink it, then burn it. Most of the time, there is no issue decrypting it. But on Pursuit of Happiness, Stranger than Fiction, Casino Royale, I couldn't decrypt them.

Is this some extra layer of protection they are putting on dvd's? What's the best way around it?
Yes. None that I know of. Ask Simplex, he'd know, but I don't think there is a penetrable method to decrypt the protected.
