Anyone have any weird nicknames growing up? Two memorable ones for me are Butch and Vern.
One time, I was calling Amy (friend from previous posts). Her mom yelled for her and told her that her partner in crime was on the phone. She gets on the phone and says, "Hey, Butch." It stuck. With her family, we were Mac (her middle name was Michelle) and Butch.
In high school, some classmates found out my middle name was Laverne, so they started calling me Vern. It stuck with some people.
