i have no idea about herman at this point
he seems like a big goof ... remarkedly similiar to a mouthy-writing-checks-my-butt-can't-cash guy like gunther.... but, he has enjoyed some success at this level in the nfl, so maybe he can cash it.
positives
1. new defensive position coaches
2. defensive head coach to hold gunther's hand
3. pretty solid draft
4. moving sims to 2nd string for a rookie starter(even briefly) may indicate a true competition situation in this year's camp.
negatives
1. pretty much "stood pat" this offseason
