Bella Ramsey's casting as Ellie is DEI personified you drooling ****ing mouth breather. She looks and sounds NOTHING like Ellie in the game, but ol Neil Cuckmann loves himself some non binary gender fluid bullshit, so here we are, DEI Ellie with the face of a ****ing potato and net zero charisma.
Mexican Joel in Pedro Pascal. Joel is very clearly not from Chile in the game. He's red blooded American born and bred in Texas.
Then he cast Kaitlyn Dever, the perfect actress to actually play a 19 year old Ellie, as the incredible bulk. Otherwise known as Abby. Abby in the game is a 5'9 170 pound monstrosity built like a brick shithouse with Hulk Hogan's arms from 1988. Kaitlyn Dever is 5'2 and 100 pounds soaking wet.
Not liking the brick shithouse with Hogan's pythons branded you a toxic fan because Abbys physique was totally normal according to Cuckmann, but somehow Abby is this tiny little girl in the show.
It's ****ing hilarious how sideways the casting went for this show.
