I was at a game as a kid when Eisenreich ripped a foul ball over the 3rd base dugout where we were sitting and it hit some lady square in the face. It was a bullet and I remember she was seizing for a bit while they attended to her and then took her away. She was ultimately fine but it made me never be comfortable sitting low outside the netting for the rest of my days so I suppose it was a good lesson.
Anyhow, can't ever hear his name without immediately remembering that game. Liked him well enough as a player but he wasn't flashy or exciting enough for a kid to really to care too much about. Not that the rest of our roster ever really was either but....
