There was a thread mentioning some discussion on TV about whether the NHL has a serious flopping/embellishment issue, and that it was even before Jamie Benn murdered himself skating into a stick.
I get it to some extent... nothing was called on this crosscheck to the back of the neck, should MacKinnon have flailed and thrown his stick in agony?
OTOH, some of the shit is well beyond calling out an obvious penalty, like of course Benn putting on the clown suit for a call.
None of it matters a ton on who wins this series specifically, it's just really ****ing obnoxious on what's called and what isn't, just to see fake penalties on top of the other inconsistencies.
There was no penalty called after Hintz crosschecked MacKinnon in the back of the head
