Buddy picked up Showtime, so I rewatched Billions. I'd seen the first 3 (I think) seasons and felt compelled to finish.
It went on too long. It puts me out when characters go against the entire buildup of their character for the sake of continuing the series. But I enjoyed it. Like most finance stuff, you have to be kind of like **** off with that shit, but some of it is pretty good. Their ability to absolutely pepper every episode with sports and pop culture references and not go back to the well, even once is mother****ing impressive.
Maggie Siff (especially early on) was just gorgeous. Absolutely incredible.
It was a good watch. I recommend it. Derivative sometimes, but an enjoyable watch.
