Think of it like taking a TE in fantasy football. You can take one of the top 3 in the first 5 rounds. Or take one from 4-8 in the next 4-5 rounds. Then you might as well just wait until the last round to grab another. Nobody else is taking one and there's not much of a difference either way.

There was no reason to take a RB in the 5th.

And we got the only one left at that point that might actually matter.
