Maybe it's just how the board worked out for the Chiefs and their thought is that with the influx of so many RBs from this class that there's going to be viable options that become available.
A vet that is more reliable and better at blocking and picking up blitzes might be the trade-off of getting a young buck with fresh legs?
It's just a reality that they couldn't address everything but that is the price of getting the picks they did.
