Cackling in the War Room once again, looking extremely rested after their long break in the middle of day 3, we see a pleased Brett Veach talking on the phone. "I told you this guy would make it to us. He's your clone. Go announce the pick, I'll call it in."
He sets his iPhone down and looks at an extremely pleased Dave Merritt. "So, remember, don't tell them they're announcing a guy who probably is going to replace them next year." Merritt nods.
At the NFL draft, where Green Bay fans are filling the Day 3 doldrums by chanting about what a stinker that Aaron Rodgers is, Jaylen Watson and Joshua Williams walk on to the stage. Watson is on his phone as he enters, and can be faintly heard saying, "Hold on real quick, LJ, I gotta announce this pick, then we can talk playing the market for a trade and contract!"
Watson and Williams step to the podium.
Watson: "You all know nobody works Day 3 DBs like our man Brett Veach..."
Williams: "So why do you keep letting him do it, guys?"
In unison: "The Kansas City Chiefs select Fentrell Cypress II, CB, Florida State.
