KC - Old Municipal Stadium, then Kaufman.

DFW - Arlington Stadium. It really was a rathole, but had a good time there most times I went. Never went to the newer stadium, nor the current one.

Atlanta - Fulton County Stadium, then Turner Field.

Baltimore - Camden Yards. Really nice stadium in the early days.

NY - Old Yankee Stadium. Sat in the upper deck. The upper deck was really steep and kind of scary for a drunk guy who's scared of heights to descend.

Boston - Fenway Park. We had seats in center field and were there early. We walked all the way around the park before going in, then as far as we could inside the stadium. There was an interior gate that was guarded and they weren't supposed to let us through. My buddy was from the Boston area and told the guard I was from KC and he needed to show me the glory of Fenway, so the guard said ok and let us go through. I'm still really surprised by that.

LA - Dodger Stadium. Pretty cool place. It's built into the side of a hill so you just walk up the hill to the level of your seats and walk straight into the stadium level.

LA - Old Anaheim stadium. This was pretty fun. The crowd is really into having a good time no matter the game. I really enjoyed this.

Oakland - Oakland/Alameda stadium. What a shithole. The Oakland fans were assholes too. I was there in 1984 the night the Royals clenched the AL West.

Houston - Astrodome was another shithole. I was incredibly let down by how awful a place for baseball that was. The new stadium is pretty nice. Parking is terrible, but the stadium is great.

Milwaukee - American Family Field. It was still pretty new when I was there. Great fans, nice people. It's a good place to see a game.

Seattle - I didn't actually get to the game at the Kingdome. We were at Elmendorf AFB in Alaska and were unable to get out of there early enough. This was at the end of the Cold War and the Russians were flying some military aircraft to Canada for an airshow. They couldn't make it without refueling and had negotiated with the US govt to land for refueling at Elmendorf in Anchorage. So, we got to see a short airshow the Russians put on for everyone over the base before they landed. So, we missed my one and only chance to see a game at the Kingdome, but given how much I heard about the Kingdome being another shithole, I'm glad we got to see the Russians come in and land at a US AFB.

Bonus - Omaha - Went to the College World Series at the old stadium. College atmosphere. Lots of fun. We had coolers of beer in the trunk of the car and some frisbees, so we started horsing around as we waited for the traffic to clear. Ended up staying there having fun until about 3:30 in the morning. A security guard drove up around 2:00 and asked what the hell we were doing. We told him we were waiting for the traffic to clear up. He looked around at the empty lots, thought about it for a moment, said "OK," and drove off. Fun night.
