There were some great spots...the bft out of midair, the jade suplex out of midair, the el grande americano 450 reverse whatever that crazy move was, the spear into a pedigree, wish they would have shown that guillotine into a pinning suplex from rollins again.
Seth always has creative stuff...
Oh and jade and Naomi wasn't nearly as bad as I anticipated. The bar was set pretty low though.

I think I agree with most of this.
You just can’t compare to the last two years with the Bloodline story dominating most of WWE. No promotion will always have a long term story like that at all times.
This was a really typical Mania. A few duds, (predictable or not) big name Main Event with a twist, a few good matches, and a few great spots.
That’s how it normally goes.
It could be worse. You could get another WM 9 where it’s trash from start to finish. 13 would probably be the worst ever if not for Stone Cold and Bret Hart saving the day.
17, 18, 19 were all great, but the rest of the teens had several duds throughout the show (which pains me to say about 14, because that one is special to me).
