Even after getting beaten up for most of the game, he came through when it counted. Marcus Allen, as well. Those 2 were key FAs that helped turn the team from a WC team to an actual SB contender. |
Agree with all this. The irony is that Dave Krieg saved the 93 season by going 3-2 as a starter. Montana was hurt a little in 94, but didn’t miss as many games. Of course Bono went 0-2 as a starter that year. I remember we barely made the playoffs in 94 and Miami easily beat us the wild card. Montana was physically done at that point.
