I liked the season, but I agree that the finale felt a little incomplete. I'm not sure why though, because it makes sense from a story perspective. It begins with Matt and Fisk both trying to be something they're not, and ends with them on a collision course, having embraced who they really are. Maybe it's too much conclusion, it makes the season feel like a prelude to what they're doing in season two.
Also a minor complaint, I thought the gore in the finale crossed over into cartoonishness. Blood was exploding out of people like they were in Mortal Kombat.
