I guess that's one way to get your name out there in the off-season.

NFL Fans Want Fox Sports Host Fired For 'Worst Take Ever'

Fox Sports host Jason McIntyre is getting ripped to shreds this weekend for his hot take about the Kansas City Chiefs.

McIntyre filled in for Colin Cowherd during this past week's episodes of "The Herd." On Friday, he decided to unleash his boldest prediction for the 2025 NFL season. As of this moment, he has the Kansas City Chiefs missing out on the playoffs. His biggest concerns are that All-Pro guard Joe Thuney is out of the picture and Travis Kelce is on the decline.

Not only is McIntyre concerned about the lack of move the Chiefs have made this offseason, he's convinced some of the lesser teams in the AFC, like the New England Patriots, have drastically improved their rosters.

"If you look at the AFC, the worst teams in the AFC are getting better," McIntyre said. "Tennessee is for sure going to get better with a rookie quarterback, Cam Ward. The New England Patriots added Mike Vrabel, who’s an excellent coach. His record needs no introduction. They’re going to be much better, the New England Patriots. Cowherd loves them. He’s starting to convince me that they’re a playoff team. We know the Raiders are going to be better with a real, professional head coach in Pete Carroll, and they got a better quarterback in Geno Smith."

McIntyre also claims Kansas City's roster could be physically exhausted heading into the 2025 season.

"You look at the last three years, Kansas City has played 10 playoff games. That’s more than half another season," McIntyre continued. "We see this in the NBA all the time. When you make a run to the finals two, three years in a row, that following year, you’re drained. The bodies are breaking down, the players are wearing down. And it’s very, very difficult to keep that sustainability going. I’m making the call here. It’s mid-April before the draft. I don’t think the Kansas City Chiefs are a playoff team next year."

Though it's not really a surprise, NFL fans crushed McIntyre for this take. Some even think he should get canned for it.

"How does he even have a job," a Chiefs fan tweeted.

"This is going to be one of the worst takes I’ve ever heard. This guy has no clue what he’s talking about," a second fan commented.

It's frankly just shocking to me that Colin even employs this guy," another fan wrote. "So much deceitful language and logical fallacies. The Chiefs didn’t improve? Well - I would reckon that having the best record in football & winning the AFC title is a pretty good marker to rest on."

"This guy is the worst. He wants to be relevant so bad, but he’s clueless," a fourth fan said.

McIntyre joined Fox Sports Radio in 2015. The founder of "The Big Lead" has been an integral part of Cowherd's radio show for the past few years.

Do you think McIntyre's take about the Chiefs will age poorly?
