My third week of cardiac rehab really kicked my butt big time....
Treadmill walk for 10 minutes at a medium pace...keeping the Watts level at 45...
Bicycle ride for 10 minutes at a medium pace....keeping the Watts level at 55...
Another version of the bicycle ride at a medium pace for 10 minutes...resistance greater and Watts level at 45...
Arm pedal only for 10 minutes with Watts at 45
30 leg lifts with a 10 lb weight on each leg...(this one once again stayed normal)
60 stand up/sit down without using my arms....
30 arm bends with 7.5 lb weight each arm...
20 pushups...
30 Step Up/Step down for each leg
Resistance bands height level- 30 pullbacks focusing on upper body strength
Resistance bands 9 feet - 300 pull downs again focusing on upper body strength
For some reason the pedal only bicycle was really doing my legs in yesterday. I was struggling just to finish that one.
Had no issues with the others like arm pedals and the arm & pedal machines...
The good sign though is that I am only experiencing fatigue that is normal with these workouts and my Blood Oxygen Content is staying between 96-98 throughout the whole workout. I am not having any chest pains or other signs....
But dang....my muscles are still getting used to all this.
I am hoping that by moving this to the Retirement Thread I can coerce anyone else who is going thru some sort of rehab will contribute....we can all encourage each other to stay on track so we can see Mahomes pass Brady in the # of Super Bowls won.
