Five trips there since 2020, it's a gem. Mrs. GloryDayz and I will be back there in July so I'm hoping the reefs have continued their recovery as I saw last time I was there last April.
And I'm not sure how Suunto is achieving their 3D mapping (
Dive Route) <- click that link, but another diver was diving the Suunto Ocean in Fiji last month, and it was way cool. Garmin gives you entry and exit GPS locations, and obviously a depth/time profile, but to topological map is freaking cool.
Clearly I prefer the Garmin offerings in the Mk3i (and the older Mk2i) because I can use it for all recreation dives and many less challenging technical dives, but Suunto has up'd the challenge to Garmin for route mapping.
And yeah, while Bonaire is still my favorite and go-to caribbean island, and Cozumel is an easy in/out for quick and/or training trips, I still love me some Roatan and Utila.
