From Vernon's newsletter last week:

I'm Hearing Flory Bidunga plans to enter the transfer portal, ending a week of speculation about the former 5-star freshman. ESPN has since confirmed the KUHearings update.
I’ve Heard KU wanted Bidunga to return, and it appears to mark a significant blow to Kansas' frontcourt plans for next season. I don’t think KU expected this when the season ended.
While Bidunga showed flashes of his elite potential during his freshman year, his playing time fluctuated. I’d Heard multiple times this year that his camp wasn’t thrilled with how he was being handled.
Most notably, Bidguna had a four-game stretch playing 25+ minutes with KJ Adams sidelined with an injury. KU went 3-1 in this period, with the lone loss coming in a double overtime collapse to Houston.
When Adams returned, Bidunga's role immediately diminished - managing just one field goal attempt against Baylor and only two against Iowa State in the games that followed.

If Flory isn't playing with KU next season, it's pretty obvious who/what the reason is.
