Mahomes needs to be better.

The RB room and LT situation needed to be improved.

Both things can be true.

Mahomes was not at his best last year. Far from it. There are QBs in the league that did more with less than he did last season. If what he did last season is what he's capable of -- even considering the shortcomings around him -- we wouldn't consider him in the pantheon of all time greats.

It was not a representative season for him, IMO.
