They've barely touched foreign markets and if they start expanding the appeal in those markets, it might grow the values of their franchises exponentially. That's why they stage these games in foreign markets with all the fanfare they can muster. It's good for business.

Right. But then I wonder how come NFLE didn't grow into something? I don't believe they can manufacture a market outside of the USA except for a few games so to me it looks like the NFL is creating a new time slot where the broadcasters will pay to show those games so they can sell advertising.
