There's a lot I'd like here. I've wrestled with whether Conerly is a good pick given he likely won't help immediately, I think ultimately I'd take him. Not sure I'd love moving up but again i can see the necessity. It's a gamble but getting that LT potentially locked in is a hard thing to pass on.
Love the Collins and Williams picks and all the R7 ones (though I don't know the last guy). I think playing the numbers game on the secondary has served us well and makes sense.
On Stutsman and Sanker I'm a little torn. LB and S feel like areas we could absolutely need investment, and I agree those 2 feel like perfect fits...but, I'm not convinced there won't be better options covering guys deep, which feels like the glaring hole we have. Guys like Bowman and Mukaba (though I suspect he goes earlier). Probably zero chance Spags likes them given their tackling, but it'd probably be my preference. Sanker would be fine though. I feel like Stutsman would be a great eventual replacement for what we have, which would have value, rather than a complementary piece.
I suppose the only thing I'd be a little bummed about here is the lack of an edge. I really don't like our DE room. I mean, it's fine, but it's painful watching our pass rush .
I'd be pretty happy with this though. Feel like our both our defense and offense get better and there's a nice mix between current and future needs met.
