Yeah, an employee of mine left to go to work at a startup that made him big promises to sell ear tags to feedyards.
He was pretty excited about getting in on the ground floor and stock options when they go public and shit. I asked if they got VC money he didn't think to ask that. They wouldn't even tell him much about the functionality of what he was supposed to be selling.
He acknowledged there was some risk. I didn't have the heart to tell him I've seen a lot of that kind of song and dance before.
