They just took a liiiiiiitle too long to find their footing (and Mizzou still should've beaten 'em...)

Those losses to LSU and 'Bama were both tight losses in games they could've won. Win either of those and they're in the playoffs. And if they make the playoffs, they weren't gonna win it (didn't have the QB play) but they could've done a little damage.

Getting their asses kicked at home by Ole Miss was really their only bad loss of the season. Otherwise, they were pretty damn good and just didn't hit anyone's radar until about week 12.
