Going to be some pains along the way like every offseason but I love that haters want to write the Chiefs off after their Super Bowl sugar high.
You take a look at the offense, position by position, Veach barely has to lift a finger to improve that group. After putting in work, he may just improve it by a lot.
QB = wash, but I believe we get locked in Mahomes next yr
RB = will be improved
WR = it's improved by default if Rice comes back the same guy
OL = LT upgrade is almost a certainty
Only TE stands to get worse, and if Kelce comes back, I'd argue it will get better by a function of Mahomes not forcing 120 throws to the old guy again.
Defense looks ripe to take a step back, but how far? Remains to be seen.
Point being, you mix it all up and yeah, they're going to be a different looking team that's still got a great shot to win 12+ games.
