He has a life outside of football and has had several injuries to deal with. He also has been sacked more times this season than any other. His freewheeling style of play is what made him so exceptional and now he's been reduced to a system quarterback.
Since everyone wants to compare him to Tom Brady, go ahead and compare how their family lives differ. Patrick has a wife, three small children and is involved in multiple local activities. He's not a machine and the hits add up. He was absolutely brutalized in the SB and the NFL allowed to stop the narrative that he gets special treatment.
I believe Patrick will recover however as others have said, the 2019 offense will probably never return and that makes me sad. He has taken a step backwards due to the beatings he has taken.

He’s taken a huge mental beating over the past couple years.
I don’t think he’s any worse physically than he’s ever been, but he doesn’t play with that same freedom and supreme confidence that he used to.
Everything used to look like it came incredibly easy to him. And now a lot of that same stuff looks like a huge challenge all of a sudden.
That old guy is still in there and you still see him on occasion, but man it just seems like he needs a mental reset.
