That Fisher Achilles tear that ruined his career btw might be the most impactful injury in Chiefs history. We'll never know if we win that SB with him, but there's a distinct chance we would have and he likely would have kept being a productive LT for years to come.

That’s where I give Veach a ton of grace with his handling of the offensive tackles.
Having both tackles set and then losing both to career ending injuries is almost impossible to fix quickly. Yes, I know Fisher played after with the Colts but his career here was done.
Granted, more work to be done and I wouldn’t give Veach a great grade so far on it. However, normally you see guys have a more steady decline and you draft their replacements early for them to learn.
Losing both just like that was devastating. It’s honestly hard to believe the Chiefs went to 3 and won 2 Super Bowls AFTER that.
