The entire trajectory of his time here was just...bizarre. He came hot right out of the game and made some early contributions on very limited snaps. I just assumed his role and snap count would continue to grow as the season went on. I don't have his stats in front of me, but it seems like the inverse opposite happened and his role actually diminished more and more as the season went on.

He's not the only one that's in a bizarre situation either. I'm not sure why we traded for Uche or signed Nelson either. I trust Veitch and recognize him as the best in the business, but it does seem like the front office and the coaching staff were a bit "disconnected" this year.

I'm not really sure what other explanation would make logical sense, but I'm all ears if anyone else has any theories.
