Flaherty probably made the right move going back to the Tigers' pitching lab under Chris Fetter as they were the ones who fixed him.
The Tigers made out well renting him to the Dodgers as they acquired SS Trey Sweeney, who is probably not a first division regular but was an upgrade because he wasn't Javier Baez.
They also landed catcher Thayron Liranzo, who is on some top 100 lists. He has big time power and a big time throwing arm, similar to our guy Blake Mitchell. The Tigers are also flushed with catcher depth as they have Josue Briceno, the Arizona Fall League MVP.
