Regardless of the truth about SalaryCapGate, it's hilarious that Broncos fans think that repeating excuses given by ownership proves something.

We'll never know all the details of the situation, but it's pretty clear the NFL did not disclose everything they knew. They wanted to sweep it under the rug and move on quietly.
What we do know: There were agreements between the team and "several" unidentified players to defer salary payments with interest, spanning the exact years during which they had by far the most loaded rosters in Denver history.
Could it be they were desperate to finally break through and take advantage of Elway's last couple years in the league? Nah...
