I feel like shit-talking Mahomes and the Chiefs is the new 'hot take'.
The dickheads on sports radio and TV all say whatever dipshit thing they want because when they're wrong, everyone forgets about it. But on the off chance they're right, they get to beat their chests over it for months.
So these guys go shit talk Mahomes now because, shit, if they're wrong -- who cares? The sports media world will move on. But if they're right, they get to put in their bio and talk big shit until next season.
I don't think they give a damn about bulletin board material because it doesn't register to them that ANYONE could be as petty as Mahomes actually is. So they do it just in case they end up right.
I hope they keep it up. Because no, normal people are NOT as petty as Patrick Mahomes is. But Patrick most assuredly is.
