This game means nothing to KC other than off-season smack talk and humiliating a division opponent....I cant say "rival" because they arent.
Donk fans on the other hand...will not only miss out on their first chance at the play-offs in a decade but it will be at the hands of the Chiefs B squad.
There is a good chance they wont be in the same position next year...still haven't beaten anyone good or had a trademark win this year.
It was a fluke season with a lot of easy games...and it's starting to looking like a late season collapse similar to last year.
Nix was 2-4 for 2 yards in OT with their season on the line. That was his first real pressure moment to shine....2 yards.
This will be a fun, inconsequential game...

I'm not going to be too quick to concede this game to the Donks, regardless of who the Chiefs put out there. Allow me to introduce everyone to a bit of history regarding the Donkeys need to beat the Chiefs with either a post-season spot or division title on the line. Here is how it has gone:
1986 -- Donkeys need to beat the Chiefs in KC to win AFC WEST, but the Chiefs kick Elway's a$$ and win 37-10.
1992 -- Donkeys need to beat the Chiefs in KC to capture a wild-card spot, but the Chiefs again kick Elway's a$$ and win 42-20.
2004 -- Donkeys need to beat the Chiefs in KC to keep pace with SD for AFC WEST crown, but the Chiefs wax the Donkeys all over the field 45-17.
2009 -- Donkeys need to beat the Chiefs in Donkeytown to capture a wild-card spot, but the Chiefs get 259 yards rushing from Jamaal Charles and two (2) pick-sixes from Derrick Johnson and smoke the Donkeys 44-24.
2016 -- Donkeys need to beat the Chiefs in KC to have any hope for a wild-card slot, but the Chiefs dominate the Donks 33-10.
Do you see a trend here? I do -- and I hope that trend continues this coming Sunday. If it doesn't? So what, the playoffs still lay ahead for KC.
Almost forgot -- Remember that time that the Donkeys thought they would beat the CHIEFS by kicking a chip shot 35 - yard FG, only to have the Chiefs #54 Leo and #56 Furious George kick the Donks O-Lines A$$ and block that FG?
