I have found that changing companies every four to five years is necessary anyway as they have a tendency to gradually increase rates once they think you are comfortable and not paying attention.
Ten years ago our homeowners was just over a grand, now it is four times that +.

I've figured for a while that's the best route, even if I'm too lazy to do so most of the time, heh.... the first time I did so, I saved quite a bit on comparable coverage, but then you have that PTSD/****-how-long-was-I-getting-raped feeling that you don't exactly want every few years.
