It was a nice throw. WR was wide open by 5 yards. All it required was to chunk it in the general vicinity of a receiver and let the receiver run underneath it. I mean even a broken clock is right twice a day. It was his broken clock moment.
FWIW, I think the one at the end of regulation to Mims was better. The one where Mims bobbled it and did not have full control until he was out of bounds and they erroneously allowed a touchdown. They were looking to see whether or not it had touched the ground, and totally disregarded the fact that the ball was moving the whole time, and he did not gain full control until he was out of bounds. That was a good throw regardless.
