I didn't watch him much in college, but at 30k feet, QBs in that type of college offense are probably the hardest to figure out in terms of transitioning to the NFL... and it's one thing to be able to throw across your body and the field 40 yards, but there's plenty of shit you can get away with in college that will land you on the bench in the NFL.
It's still easy to make fun of the Lazs of the world wanting a running back first and I was ****ing thrilled they picked
any QB in the first round of the draft for the first time in my life... but, I doubt any of us could even hindsight our way into thinking this was going to be the result.
