What is the problem with everyone in here? You pretend not to understand that it's perfectly logical to make statistical analyses based on the merger date forward.
That's what that video did, and what countless other deep-dive statistics do, you see these EVERY DAY.
If you want to compare teams back to and including AFL stats, your comparison pool gets whittled down to 8, maybe 10 ... but even so, that's also a perfectly logical period to analyze, even though it excludes NFL Franchises.
