Geez, this obsession you guys have with the Broncos is really really troubling, there's so many of you that really need to LET GO! And you cheering for Elway to die, that's just over the top twisted.
They made a documentary movie about John Elway because people everywhere loved the guy, loved to watch him play. He's the reason that, according to NBC Sports, as of 2020 the Broncos were featured on more national telecasts than any other team from 1970-2020. (Admittedly, a good part of that record is due to the Broncos being one of the few teams whose home games are played in the late Sunday window).
Elway was very good at late-game comebacks. There are numerous definitions of "comebacks," you guys quoting just one merely begs the question. But there are there are several unambiguous records nobody can argue with:
- Upon retirement, Elway had won more games than any QB ever.
- He led his team to more Super Bowls than any QB ever
- He was starting QB in more Super Bowls than any QB ever
Sorry to rain on your hate-parade, but them's just the facts.
