Tell me the story of how is merely COINCIDENCE, and nothing more, that once the greatest quarterback to ever live became the starting quarterback for the Chiefs, that the worst finish in 6 years is overtime losses in home AFC Title games.
Why, I bet if we'd stuck with Alice Smiff just one more year, HE would be the one with 3 rings on his hand. Andy was just 1 year away from figuring it aaaaallllll out, no more one and dones, and poor Alex, cursed by the football gods, was banished to Washington to suffer the most horrific leg injury we've seen, forced to battle for his leg, and eventually his very life.
