Because he was tolerable most of the year. Not good, but probably no worse than slightly below average. That'll play.
There's no way we go into next season with him as the starter, don't get me wrong. But IF the knee is truly as big a problem as some have suggested...you maybe could? Or at least find adequate veteran competition rather than come up with a long-term contract for a locked-in starter?
We won't do it. We're signing Cam Robinson because we can't repeat this season again.
But in some ways Wanya kinda acquitted himself nicely through about week 8. Then all hell broke loose.

I just don’t think we have a choice but to sign Cam Robinson. There’s only 3-4 possible LT’s in the draft and every mock has them going in the top 14.
Trading up that far is most likely not happening. It’s extremely difficult.
Just sign Cam Robinson, figure out Trey’s replacement and be done with it
